"Tora! Tora! Tora!" is the Commemorative Air Force's recreation of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that signaled the beginning of the American involvement in World War II.
Designed as a living history lesson, the intent of the Tora group is to help generations of individuals throughout the world born after World War II understand that war does not discriminate in the pain it causes and that courageous individuals on both sides lose their lives.
During EAA Airventure 2013 at Oshkosh, WI, Other People's Airplanes had an exclusive opportunity to talk to the members of the Tora, Tora, Tora Team. They allowed us to mount GoPros in and on their aircraft, work with their pyro team during the performance, and cameras stationed across different parts of the airfield. More than a dozen cameras, filming across two days, over a year of editing and the tireless hard work of the entire OPA team resulted in this special feature. We hope you appreciate this tribute to "Tora! Tora! Tora!".
